Representation means the description or portrayal of someone or something in a particular manner.  In this essay I will be analysing my film opening, which includes the representation of age, gender and class. 

The research we conducted in class was looking at other film opening and analysing the representation they show for example was Perk of Being a W.  This allowed us to look at how youth is portrayed in teen drama which is the genre we chose for our film opening.  Our film openining we produced was called ‘Untamed.’ We wanted to include age, gender and class, by researching other films with a similar genre made it easier to do this…


Representation that is addressed in the music video is age, as we include a 16 year old female and a middle age mum.
