j Everything in relation to post production has improved greatly over the last 2 years. All the editing done at AS was extremely basic especially our start projects like our prelim. Our final film opening was a step up from our prelims but was still had basic transitions, colour correcting and amateur cuts. I also included ancillary text such as a magazine cover, movie poster which we created in PowerPoint. At A2 the ancillary texts we created such as the digipak and the website improved dramatically, I think because we researched more into similar artists. A way in which the website improved was that our at A2 our website included 7 pages with each page full of content, whereas in our first year it contained only two pages and only that only had very basic information, which would not be very intersting to users so they probably would not want or need to visit it again.

In year 13 to create some of our ancillary texts such as the digipak, tour poster, magazine cover and merchandise we used Photoshop. This was a huge step up from AS where we only used programs such as PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. Overall being able to use Photoshop made our overall ancillary texts look much more professional. One key element that we really focused on at A2 was synergy and cross media branding, we tried to include synergy through all our products for example using a colour scheme which thea audience is going to recognise as Nova's 'brand'.
In year 12 (AS), I have created numerous different products such as an introductory video using already existing clips so that we would learn to use the editing software (Premiere Pro). A prelim called 'Girls Can't Play', a video in which we replicated the film opening from the film Juno and then the main project, the film opening. All the editing done at AS was extremely basic especially our start projects like our prelim. Our final film opening was a step up from our prelims but was still had basic transitions, colour correcting and amateur cuts. In the film opening (Untamed)we included effects on Adobe Premiere Pro such as colour correcting through some of the scenes for example making some shots feel warmer/colder. We also included some foley into the film opening for some dialogue and sound effects (door slamming), we were taught how to do this in our prelim task and practise edits. However, at A2 our editing skills improved very much I think particularly because of the prelim task and we began editing the music video it made us more experienced with effects such as warp stabiliser.
